INNOCENCE, HISTORY AND VIOLENCE

A man said: "There is not poetry after Auschwitz (Out-With)". This book is a beautiful return to hell from the children´s perspective. I remember a film with a similar point of view, The life is beautiful, but it was a comedy and this book is a dramatic story. When you finish it, you think the children should know the truth although they are children. Also the end of Bruno could be "the perfect punishment" for her Father, The Fury and extreme violence that represent the history of Nazism. However, Bruno is not guilty, completely innocent of insanity and racism. The author tells us that all children, all human beings are equal. The difference found is wealth o poverty, in power or the use of violence, because you can move quickly, with your innocence and ignorance, to victim.
